Should England beat Italy on Sunday, then the semi will bo on Thursday, when a certain band are playing in Bradford, and possibly with a game against Germany it could be an interesting night.

Last time I remember something similar happening was a Cambridge gig a few years back and England had to beat Croatia to qualify for whichever competition it was.  Left for the gig before the end of the match but Justin helpfully updated from the stage that.....England had lost!

We went to a Justin Solo gig back in October 1993, at the Witchwood in Ashton. It so happened to be the night of the Holland v England World Cup Qualifier. England lost 2-0 and failed to qualify for USA '94. :'(
Tonight, as you stare at the ceiling again
With your lover turning away
Disappointment closing in
Like the walls... and you try...
You try to talk about love
And they put their arms around you
But you still feel all alone
Wonder why...

Don't worry Jez ,I don't think there is gonna be a conflict of interests as Germany v Italy would not really interfere with gig😜

Was it Bill Shankley who said "some people think football is a matter of life or death, I think it's more important than that apart from if NMA have a hometown gig and if so, I'll see you in the pit"
It's a mean old scene.
