I suppose the band are just doing one uk date - and thats Rock City - which is very central and generally a great gig. On a more basic level - they probably got offered a decent fee by the club who knew it'd do good business the w/e before Xmas ( I assume its an in house promotion?)

Was thinking about last year's Manchester gig tonight when I got the train back from Bournemouth and the Cross Country service from Manc arrived just before mine. I will take Nottingham, great venue, great city and a Premier Inn right round the corner, what more could you wish for?

I agree, Nott Rock City is my favourite venue in the country, it's kinda central in the UK and there's a whole load of good pubs and cheap hotels in the vicinity. We'd all love an extensive UK tour... but doesn't that one date make it special?

And we all know NMA are worth travelling for...
