That's worked out well!  I went to the SU box office this morning on my way to the dentist, but  THE person who can sell tickets was late for work and so not there!  It would still have been £1.25 fee per ticket turning up in person anyway.  Looks like I've had a lucky escape and will wait for the no fee sale on Thursday.

Looks like they're billed as being on in the smaller 400 capacity room (Club 53 Degrees).  A bit of a shame because the bigger room is far better (1200 cap though so possibly a bit too big - maybe if it was a weekend not backing onto a festival date it would suit).  Either way, it will be much better than the last dive they played in Preston!

This is such a great idea. Just ordered my tickets now - and they're e-tickets so no messing about waiting for the post. Wish more venues would do this sort of thing.

It seems like a win win because, by waiving the booking fee, they bank a lot of ticket money much earlier than they probably would otherwise have done and we get face value tickets.

I'd have bought my NMA tickets fairly sharpish anyway but it's my local venue and I've ordered tickets for a few other gigs today that I might otherwise have left until much nearer the time.
