Going for a dawn walk with my big sis tomorrow. Now that her heart condition has been diagnosed and treated (as best as possible) she has got the "walking bug"

We are both knocking on a bit. She doesn't like to do more than 4 miles. I have metalwork in my ankle now, so I can't do the 25-40 miles that seemed so easy in my early 20s

It will be a good chance to catch up.

An unhealthy breakfast after (well, we did burn the Calories)

Hoping for a clear morning to get some nice photos. If not then I couldn't care less. At least I will have seen it.

Just back home from Fort William then Onich , surely Onich is one of the most stunningly beautiful places I've ever been to ( google images) . The weather was fantastic, I felt so honoured to have spent the time with wonderful people

Stayed at the Bridge of Orchy on a motorcycle tour of Scotland some ten years ago. The station doubles up as a bunk house. West Coast has stunning views at every turn.

On January 6th last year I answered a post on this board from a total stranger called Keto. 8 weeks later after a flurry of PM's and emails she took a punt and flew over from Tel Aviv to meet and go to a gig - Reading, Sub 89 - 5 days later we were engaged and yesterday on the shore of Loch Levan in the Scottish Highlands we got married  .  with a certain chap called Pol as witness. You know I'm kidding, hun.  I don't know enough nice words to express how happy I am for you. I know you, like me, have been through some tough times.  And I cringe a bit at the expression 'happy ending' but if anyone deserves something like that, it's certainly you.  Glad your day was brilliant.  Big love and hugs for you both.
