Getting into this jam making. Have made 7 jars of good stuff. The first batch was crap because I burnt it and it set to hard. You learn from you mistakes and watch the thermometer like a hawk so it doesn't happen again.

Picked another huge bowl full of plums  today. Still hundreds on there.
Freezed a big bag load.
Plum crumble for tea last night.
Gonna turn purple at this rate !

Kitchen is finished, oven and fridge freezer delivered today, just got the washing machine to plumb in- dark wood is exorcised from 1 room at least, blimey the Germans do love a bit of wood  :D
