Guillaume, get hold of SA's last album, 'Black Traffic', IMO their very best album.

Agreed, a stunning live band.

Brilliant, isn't it? I had to choose Paranoid and Sunburnt as my fave, even though I love all their albums. I was in the audience when they recorded their live semi-acoustic DVD at Cadogan Hall. It was UTTERLY BRILLIANT. I'm totally a little bit in love with Skin.

Agreed.  I see a lot of live bands and try to see all my faves whenever they tour, but if I miss a tour, fair enough, I'll catch them next time, but, for my money there are two bands I absolutely refuse to miss... one is NMA and the other is SA...

You saw SA at CH?  So, so jealous...  :'(

If anyone's reading this and doesn't know what we're on about, do yourself a favour and check them out...

Can't believe I forgot to mention "Cold Roses" by Ryan Adams and the Cardinals. That's been one of my absolute favourite albums since it was released in about 2005.

In no order, and with no duplicate bands:

Cardiacs - A little man and a house and the whole world window
SLF - Hanx
Stranglers - Black & White
Propagandhi - Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes
UK Subs - Diminished Responsibility
Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables
Dropkick Murphys - The gang's all here
Boomtown Rats - The fine art of surfacing
The Clash - Give 'em enough rope
Dillinger Four - Situationist Comedy

Although Is This The Life is in my 10 ten singles of all time, On Land And In The Sea is my fave Cardiacs Lp

Just realised I missed out a *huge* one (for me):

Black Sabbath - Mob Rules

I never tire of this one.  Ronnie James Dio on vocals, cracking muddy guitar sound, huge range of great songs, different styles.
bah.  humbug.

Angel Dust by Faith No More.
Easily.  No contest.  Now and forever.
