Just want to share this with you folk - I went to the Mosely Folk Festival this Sunday just gone - was a great day - some great stuff - but big suprise was The Dubliners, they're calling themselves the Dublin Legends in respect of the fact that they aren't the Dubliners yeah? a bunch of sixty and almost seventy year old kids playing The Dubliners tracks - They weren't just good - really ******* brilliant.
I needed a coupla songs that they didn't play but aint it always the case - but we did get Black Velvet Band, Poor Paddy on the Railway and a classic that I've never liked but it sounded great on the night; which was - I'll Tell me Ma.
great band - I just want to give these kids a plug - they should go a long way but you know how hard the music biz is these days....
