Therapy? supported by Membranes at their Glasgow and Newcastle gigs last weekend - same again in Manchester tomorrow.

Both bands on fine form and well worth going to see.

H

Glad to hear it, seeing them in Stoke next week, really looking forward to it.

Just finished seeing Steven Wilson in NYC on 3/5 an excellent show even thou Steven was sick and his voice was almost gone after their show in Boston the previous night. the good thing is he has a female singer on this tour Ninet Tyab ( I think that is her last name) that was on tour and she sang the lead parts on most of the songs Steven tried his best and as they say the Show must go on. He had to cancel his next show in Chicago but he will play a 2nd show there. all in all a great night of music . 8)

So went to see Balthazar again yesterday. What a band... What a band... I don't know whether they made it past Calais yet, but really, check them out.

Saw the Sisters last Tuesday in Hamburg - for the first and the last time :o :P

Honestly, that was by far the worst gig by any "professional" band that I ever saw  ;D

I can't understand why they still sell out the Palladium in Köln or the Columbiahalle in Berlin.

No creative output on CD in 26 years and a crappy half-playback live show with wannabe rockers.

Sorry you didn't enjoy it, mate... I love their studio albums and have seen them live a couple of times, had a great night both times.... but they do have a habit of making a total dogs dinner of certain tunes...

I do wish they'd do a fourth album of the 12 or so tracks that they play live but have never recorded.

I think the gigs sell out due the rarity of their live performances...

Well, I was warned by a friend who saw them many times and he told me afterwards, that Hamburg '16 was a good Sisters gig ;)

Bought tickets to see Wayne Hussey solo show and The Icicle Works, separate gigs, not a double header, but that would be amazing !

Both in Brizzol in a week or 2.

My 1st gigs after the Cancer.

 :)

One of them is a school night too.
 ;)
Whooosshhhh !!!

Yup, they are quite awful live.  It's hard to believe that what is essentially a touring outfit doesn't do a more accomplished live show.  I swore I'd never go again after a truly rotten gig in Rock City about 15 years ago, but here I am still going... I  saw them again in Leeds in December.  No better, but no worse;-)   The music  just means so much to me...

Oh, and I've seen the Cult in Leeds and Wonderstuff at Rock City recently. Both fab nights out.
