And, tomorrow night, Skunk Anansie in Manchester.  Always superb live, one of the best live bands I ever saw, and I've seen hundreds...

They opened up with this one last time I saw them...

Due to a severe lack of gigs this year with The Skids early next month being my first I've ended up booking a few gigs for bands/artists that are not usually on my radar.  So far I've booked Gary Numan in July, Ash in August and Happy Mondays in December and I'm hoping to book Royal Blood in November and The Charlatans in December.  My annual Christmas jamboree with Electric Six has been cancelled till next year so I had to take drastic action and take a few risks.  Not a bad thing though as I've had a few nice suprises seeing bands I wouldn't usually go to see.

Hoping to make The Charlatans... didn't know about Royal blood and Ash touring, will look into that...

On a pissed off note, Skunk Anansie in Manchester tonight was announced as an early start / finish gig so went by public transport, only to find out it was now a late gig with no prior notifications anywhere... had to give it a miss so as not to be stranded overnight...  >:(

Ticket sales for Royal Blood have been postponed due to recent events.

Thanks for the update.  Still hopeful about Ash (Wrexham for you?) and The Charlatans (Manchester?) got a couple of mates interested, depends if I can find someone with a car for the former... might see you there!

Black Star Riders in Holland tommorw - longish drive for us and we won't get that much sleep - but we're meeting up with a dear friend who will then come back to spend the long weekend with us - so it will be cool!  :D

Fischer-Z, Kieler Woche 2017

Free entry open air gig part of a town/sailing festival (NMA played there in 2006).

Good show, nothing special though.
They played many old classics and that's what most of the audience came to hear, myself included  ;D
