Not a bad one. Positive way in its mood & drive... You're lucky if your kid listens to that kind of stuff. That actually reminds me about a musical taste of couple of my friends: Rancid, Bad Religion, No Use for a Name etc. (I used to listen some BR in start of nineties too.) Are they from UK? The scene's historical backgrounds is quite known about being from States... But I have to say I'm rather more into the raw early eighties era pre-SxE hc like Minor Threat/Government Issue/Youth Brigade/State of Alert and maybe the first three albums BR did.
Ok. Here goes the next song/video:
Mantis - Kimmo PohjonenThe song is from album & DVD
Kalmuk symphony, arranged with
Tapiola Sinfonietta and
Abdissa Assefa. Kimmo Pohjonen from Finland is a master at accordion playing and adds to his songs experimental aspects. Played with numerous widely known artists such as King Crimson & Kronos Quartet. His influences lie in old traditional Finnish folk music as well as in punk a little bit. Kimmo is often known as a genius with using mics in accordion, drumming to them, playing looped the stuff live, while using foot pedals with effects and singing at the same time. (Some of you know maybe a movie called
Jade Warrior? The music in the movie is made by Kimmo too.)
