too much modern day indie influence in reverse. I always wondered where that came from. now I know.

nah. nirvana are the only ones i'd like.

It's odd how so many bands of different styles got thrown in with the whole 'grunge' thing... I think the big three were basically regarded as Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden... three bands with wildly different styles.

For the record, I really like Nirvana (although my fave album of theirs is the acoustic one), Pearl Jam I can take or leave dependant on what song is playing (plenty of good stuff, though) And I am rather fond of Soundgarden ('Superunknown' is a bloody classic...)

I thought Mudhoney were one of the big original grunge bands. After all, the lead singer Mark Arm was has been credited with coming up with the term "grunge"

Don't get me wrong, I like mudhoney, a lot, but LOVE Nirvana.

Top Banana, Heno, that is exactly how I feel. For me, being an NMA fan is something special, and as such, I am happy to listen to the ramblings / opinions of fellow followers on any subject.

I consider myself quite a private person in general, but here, I am comfortable to think ,, what the ****,, let it out, the people listing here are good
