Alabama 3 are probably my favourite band after NMA, and I probably play their stuff even more often than NMA tracks...
When the Rev died a few weeks ago I decided to revisit the bits of their back catalogue I may have neglected... I now have a new favourite album!
"Shoplifting 4 Jesus" is a real gem, it takes a little getting used to compared to the other stuff...is it a concept album? Is it a mashup? Is it the soundtrack for some bizarre musical?

Every track has something to love... can honestly say I've never heard anything quite like it.

sorry that i left you confused, but i was referring to your signature: "bah. humbug." and i thought you have taken that from the movie "baron munchhausen" by terry gilliam in which munchausen once says exactly that. so i quoted another phrase from that movie "is there a doctor in the fish?"

ahhhh, i see...!  (strange but true - i downloaded that movie just 2-ish weeks back, just haven't yet watched it again).  my reason for the signature was a bit pedestrian, being honest - i just hit 50 a couple of weeks back so decided to wallow in grumpiness.

as for the vodka limit, it was a nice idea but i don't honestly think it's going to catch on..!
