BDAW 3 tracks
« on: October 08, 2013, 01:45:29 PM »
Hi everybody,

I'll be taking a friend to his first NMA gig next week (yes, it seems strange that there are music fans who have never been to an Army gig). Which 3 tracks off the new album  should I ask him to listen to first? At the time of writing my choice would be March in September, I Need More Time and the title track (closely followed by Stormclouds). What I'm aiming for is the "typical" classic NMA sound (if this exists at all). Just to explain: he does know the old "hits". Any thoughts?

Cheers,

Wilf

IMO it would be 'Stormclouds', 'Qasrel Nil Bridge' and 'Did You Make It Safe'...

These are probably the most typical sounding and also the most catchy

March in September
Seven times
Between dog and wolf

'Lean back and fall' would be one which he'll either love or hate.

Another one here for those three tracks... although I have been listening to all the album all of the time and love all of it.

this is probably too late, but for me the stand outs are Seven Times, Lean Back and Fall and the title track. But then Summer Moors is quite something, isn't it? And so is Knievel, so I would do them the first three with two bonuses, which is clearly a complete cheat
