What do you think of this band?
It seems that there are a few fans of them on this board...
i saw them live two years ago and i was impressed, i must say...Skin is a so energetic, charismatic leading lady!...and her voice!!  8):

I was never a huge fan, my good lady likes em tho. Cannot deny Skin has a beautiful n powerful voice housed in a tiny teeny frame!
Watched the Unplugged thing on Sky Arts a while back and was impressed I admit.......

I'm sure I posted a thread about this bloody awesome band a while back...   ;)

Whatever, they're amazing, seen them about four times since they reformed... truly excellent.

And Black Traffic is possibly their best album....

A good place to start... love this song.  Other than NMA, possibly the best live band I've ever seen...

If you havent heard Purple from Skin's solo album its worth a listen. Great song, great voice.
Hala (from the Anglo-Saxon word "halh", meaning nook or remote valley), until it was gifted by King Henry II to Welsh Prince David Owen and became known as Halas Owen

I was on that!! Shown in the audience and talking during the credits. An amazing gig.

Really like it G, wasn't sure about it on first listen (first album in ten years or so) and it lacked the hard rock edge that had the first time around... but I've grown to love it, listen to it quite a lot.  Still like Black Traffic better, though.  Deffo worth checking out live if you get the chance.  Skin is just ******* phenomenal...

You ever seen the 'My Ugly Boy' video?  If not, enjoy...

And here's one from the greatest hits album that you might not know, 'Tear The Place Up', this goes down a treat live...
