My NGO/Charity school in India's urgent fund raising campaign
« on: October 30, 2013, 10:27:42 AM »
Hi all,
I have a charity/NGO school that my hubby and I set up, from scratch, in his home village in India 9 years ago. It's been going really well and we have expanded from 126 girls to 345 and this summer 4 out of 17 of our A-level girls did SO WELL that they were in the top 1% of students sitting the exams in a state (Uttar Pradesh) with 200 million people. They won scholarships to study sciences at university.

All this could end though if we don't raise £10,000 to buy school buses due to recent government actions - see a 3-minute vid explaining all (and DONATE :)) here:  http://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/free-schools-india/

Thanks so much,
Jo
(P.S. I can't wait for 2 nights of Paris gigs! While I'll always be Carlisle Jo, I live in paris now.)
