Ed Alleyne Johnson (violin = v) and Tobias Unterberg (cello = c) were guests, but were barely audible in the mix, especially the cello. Apparently they weren't able to soundcheck together as Ed's violin had been lost on the way from the UK and could only be "found" shortly before the gig.
I actually liked the new songs best and would have happily traded some/many of the "standards" for one or two unusual older tracks. Oh well.

You're right.
Although all you could hear was Dean's keyboard "strings", Tobias and Ed were indeed on stage during High.
