No spoilers Ray - only seen the first 2 episodes of True Detective and it's looking awesome -I like Woody Harrelson, ever since Natural Born Killers.

Doctor Who - Thought there were echoes of Tom Baker in there, something to do with the random nuttiness in the way he talks has to be a bit of a hats off doesn't it? Also there's some of the edge Eclestone gave the Doctor and a bit of whichever old boy Doctor was the one who was a bit aware of his superiority - who was before Pertwee cos' it might have been him I'm thinking of. Can you remember how far in that clip from Saturdays episode was? It was a bit late Sunday night when I watched and I'd been working all evening: I'll watch it on iplayer.

River Monsters  itv4 with Jeremy Wade love watching this programme. Weirdly I'm not into fishing. Mr Wade does a excellent job and visit's some exotic and extreme place The fish he catches and release's are awesome and scary.

Just caught up with the first two eps of 24 HOURS IN POLICE CUSTODY... anyone else watched this?  Genuinely gripping stuff.  Opinons, if you've seen it?

I just found my DVD of THE DAY TODAY, a classic UK news parody thing from 1994... forgot how brilliant it was.  Also the first TV appearance of the almighty Alan Partridge!  Not quite as good as the follow-up, BRASS EYE, but well worth a look.  Here's episode one.

Loved the Day Today. Even know someone who thought it was real lol. The Alan Partridge film is good too.....but off that topic. Deliver us from Evil. Not a bad movie. Also watched Lone Survivor and the new Transformers film. Lone Survivor is good and graphic. Got bored with Transformers. Way too long.
