Heno, I'm sure you've seen the official STAR WARS - THE FORCE AWAKENS trailer... and I'm excited that a really good director like JJ Abrams has the helm...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMOVFvcNfvE

But did you see what George Lucas might do with it if he got his big old 're-imagining' hands on it?

i'm counting down the days

and i don't care what others think. those that get too critical. its a series of stunning escapism. **** the dopes that thinks its wrong and would've done it better. i say to them..........sure if thats the case why didn't you come up with the original idea and build on it.

love lucas. love how mcgregor made alec guinness even more immortal as obi-wan

its about how it makes you feel. and if it makes you feel good then tell everyone. if not then keep it to yourself

may the force be with you

always

THE DAY TODAY... 20 years old and still awesome... so prescient in terms of what UK news looks like nowadays... plus, the first appearance of Alan Partridge, always a good thing...   ;)

One of my favourite clips (might not resonate with non-UK folks...)

... or, if not, here's the first episode in its entirety...

Pretentious arsebobbins.

The folks at the Oscars might take issue with that but I agree.
I'm geared towards the averagae rather than the exceptional.

I know, right?  Excellent performances all around (Michael Keaton is certainly due a big revival) and some fine technical stuff, but the storyline... the whole thing left me cold.

Sod it, new series of GAME OF THRONES starts in a few weeks, time for a big re-watch of the last series...
