"Skyfall" wasn't bad but i guess my favourite are "On her secret Majesty's service" (James Bond at his most romantic!), "Licence to kill" (in part by nostalgia maybe, because it was the first Bond movie i saw in theaters, back in 1989) , "Dr No" and "Never say never again"...i'm not a fan of Roger Moore but "The spy who loved me" is pretty good and i had fun with "Octopussy" and "A view to a kill".

You redeem yourself with OHMSS, under-rated thanks to Lazenby's non-popularirty, but it is a cracker with a nut-punch of an ending.  And you're right about Octopussy, good fun.

I'd say that For Your Eyes Only, The Living Daylights and The World Is Not Enough are under-rated Bond flicks...

Spy Who Loved Me, is my favourite by far. The ultimate baddy with Richard Keil as Jaws. Nice scenery in Egypt. Plus its the only film I know of with both 70's goddesses Valerie Lyon and Caroline Munro

plus of coarse it has Roger Moore, the best Bond.

I'm not sure if it's even out yet but there's a movie coming out called 'Vinyl', and it appears to be about Johnny Thunders. Which begs the question, what took them so long ?

I watched The Last Kingdom on BBC2 last week.
It was adapted from the Bernard Cornwall novel.
I quiet enjoyed it and will be watching again this week.
I've picked up lot's of his books over the years but haven't read any. I'm going to add his name to my reading list.

I like Connery, Klaus Maria Brandauer and Barbara Carrera who is a great evil Bond girl in "Never say never again"

OHMSS, i saw it again last week and it looks wonderful on Blu Ray...the action scenes and locations are nice, the soundtrack is beautiful, Diana Rigg is awesome and wow, this ending!!! Best ending scene from a James Bond movie, for sure, and forever i guess!

It is probably the best Bond movie from the Roger Moore era.

IMO, the best thing about "Never say Never again" is the scene with Pat Roach. Really liked Pat Roach.

Multiple roles / fight scenes / deaths in the Indiana Jones trilogy makes him a legend IMO.  Also General Kael in the hugely under-rated 'Willow'...

auf pet was a classic! ok about 30 years back, I give you that. the whole lot was on utube recently, I lapped it up. sadly it was removed and now down to commercial box sets again....bring back VHS, that's all I can say!
