Pixels. Not bad at all.
Hala (from the Anglo-Saxon word "halh", meaning nook or remote valley), until it was gifted by King Henry II to Welsh Prince David Owen and became known as Halas Owen

I also enjoyed PIXELS.  It was a huge flop at the cinema but I thought it was amusing enough.  Probably not a good idea to make a kids movie based around video games that they've probably never heard of..?

Just watched A WALK IN THE WOODS, based on Bill Brysons book, one of my favourites ever.  Really enjoyed it once I got past the fact that the two central characters were about 30 years older than they were in the book...

Well, not right now but yesterday we watched the good ol' Willow! I didn't like it so much during the eighties but now I saw how great was it how they used all of the old tricks to create things and that's not digital editing. The film's full of tricks all the time. :)

Great. I really enjoyed it.

LOVE Willow!  Terrific family fantasy movie!

You ever seen 'Lifes Too Short', Warwick Davis' sitcom?  This Val Kilmer bit is so funny...

Just watched LEGEND, that recent movie about the Kray twins.  It was OK... not great, Tom Hardy is a great actor and kudos to him for playing both twins... I just thought it was a bit cartoon-y and not terribly accurate with the facts.  Mr Hardy was great as Reg but he was a bit OTT and not very believeable as Ron...

This VERY sweary clip will prove my point...

'everythings tickety-boo... totally disco'

Yeah that is a brilliant line, thoroughly enjoying this series as well. Do you think she really is dead ?

Thought the Dr Who christmas special was a bit lame but even so Capaldi seems to get better and better.

Watched the pilot for Banshee (as recommended by the Boards very own Barry Norman) and will certainly be carrying on with that one. The blood and gore factor looks as if it will up there with Spartacus - awesome  :D

Is SHE dead?  I suppose it depends on whether Ruth Wilson (now hugely in demand in America, as is Mr Elba) can be persuaded to come back to whatever the BBC can pay...  :)

DOCTOR WHO... wasn't a favourite episode of mine but it's nice to see a standalone episode that's not bogged down in over complicated SF mumbo-jumbo, much as I sometimes enjoy that stuff....

Glad you liked BANSHEE, trust me, you're just dipping your toes in the water, this show gets FAR more mental, you ain't seen nothing yet!  Sex and violence aplenty!  The fourth and final season starts next month.  Can't wait.

As I mentioned before, getting back into TWIN PEAKS... damn this series was good.

Just finished watching , In Bruges

Not for the first time, but a very good film I can watch again. Gleesson and Farrell are superb together. Although it does grate on me with Farrell putting down Bruges all the time. Its a lovely place  :)

One of my favourite movies.  And I must visit Bruges one day.

One of my favourite dialogue exchanges ever (I expect a lot of censored words in this one...)

Ken - Harry, let's face it. And I'm not being funny. I mean no disrespect, but you're a ****. You're a **** now, and you've always been a ****. And the only thing that's going to change is that you're going to be an even bigger ****. Maybe have some more **** kids.

Harry: [furious] Leave my kids ******* out of it! What have they done? You ******* retract that bit about my **** ******* kids!

Ken: I retract that bit about your **** ******* kids.

Harry: Insult my ******* kids? That's going overboard, mate!

Ken: I retracted it, didn't I?
