Metallica:Through the never....quite bizarre. There are men in boiler suits and hard hats building a statue through Justice for all. So Spinal Tap its untrue.  I do like some Metallica but this is a bit of self indulgant pish.

Slighy aside, Lars Ulrich. Fantastic drummer, probably worth hundreds of thousands if not millions. These days I have as much hair as him. Father Time is a great equaliser  ;D

Eddie The Eagle, British film about a nobody who managed to compete in ski-jumping at the Winter Olympics and subsequently became a bit of a national treasure... yes, it's a bit cheesy and a bit loose with the facts (as Mr Edwards admits) but I found it to be a very enjoyable film... trailer here...

Secret life of Walter Mitty....may have mentioned it before but a genuinely nice innocent film. Unusual, clever and heart warming.

Highly recommend it.

Just finished watching 10 CLOVERFIELD LANE.  Excellent, best film I've seen in a while.  Highly recommend it.  Trailer here...

Loved the warriors when it came out, was one of the must see vhs movies, I'm gonna nominate enter the dragon, American werewolf and the living dead as 3 others

Which 'Living Dead' movie?

American Werewolf... my very favourite horror movie ever.  The perfect mix of comedy and horror.  And Jenny Agutter... *sigh*.  Her character was a personification of everything that's great about the NHS.   ;)

I'm ploughing on with the final season of BANSHEE, only two episodes to go before it ends forever!

It's probably DAWN, released in I think '79 and a big VHS hit in the early 80's... terrific film.

Pretty sure (without googling) it was 1978. Certainly the best zombie film of its time. The 2000 remake with Vin Rimes is very good also. -- if you like zombie films.

Tis a fine horror movie, although Zombie Flesheaters was another one I loved... you're right, though, the remake was a good 'un...
