Anyone else been watching the Olympics ? Only watching bits and pieces of it myself. Didny watch the horses dancing earlier, it just didn't appeal. Still think there should be more "sports for all" type events.  Welly wanging.  That would make a good event. More skill than arm power. You have to get the right amount of spin. Not enough, it doesn't cut the air well and go as far. Too much it can go off on a tangent. Yes - lets  hope we have Olympic Welly Wanging for 2020.

The Moto GP returned after its summer break with the latest round at the red bull ring finishing with a 1-2 for Ducati there first win in 5 years with the Yamahas third n forth, Honda's Marc  Marquez finished in 5th place after dislocating his shoulder in qualification. The event drew a larger crowd than this years F1 held at the same track . Marquez still leads the championship by 43 points

This weeks Moto GP - chech republic . Britains Cal Crutchlow on the lcr Honda takes the win , the first UK rider to win in the top class in  35 years , the first since Barry Sheen . Valentino Rossi was 2nd with Marc Marquez in 3rd. Next up is the British gp at Silverstone
