I googled film, Small Faces assuming I had seen it Pol, but I don't think I have. Reviews for it are very promising, and looks to be similar to "Neds", so I will look out for it. Have you seen Orphans ? Another Glasgow set film, as much comedy as drama staring Gary Lewis (Billy Elliots dad).

Not seen orphans, will look out for it . Not sure where you would get a hold of small faces, try the normal 2nd hand outlets I suppose, took me a while to get hold of it , don't think the dvd has ever been reissued.

Watched shutter island, definitely a strange one with excellent twists. Watching saw 2 definitely up there with my favourite movies especially horror movies . Fcking brilliant opening and a excellent story what all comes together at the end, yes very graphically gorey but imo a shot in the arm for horror. Game over!

Watched the grand tour a few days ago ( yeah I know that arsehole Clarkson) agreed thought it was ok , not quite what top gear used to be, not being into cars I enjoyed the stupidity of top gear

The Beatles - Eight Days A Week (The Touring Years).  Cinema released documentary.

Like them or loathe them, you can't deny The Beatles were a musical phenomenon like none before or since.  Even if you're not a fan, it's a terrific watch.  Trailer here.

The Outsiders . Modern day outsiders living off grid on shay mountain. Not the most original of main plots. Coal company wants to mine the mountain , forcing the Farrell's off their land and the ensuing power struggle. A well decent box set ( only one season so far) , well worth checking out

I've heard that one is pretty good, must check it out.

Just re-watched 'Attack The Block' UK horror / sci-fi flick from a few years back, really enjoyed it.  First time I saw it I was, I think, somewhat bleary-eyed after a night out, but with sober eyes it's a cracker.  Trailer here, well worth a look if you haven't seen it.

'David Brent - Life On The Road'.  I loved 'The Office', one of my favourite UK comedy shows, and Brent was a great comedic character back then, but this film is a piss-poor cash grab, very disappointing.  Trailer here, if you can be arsed...

The magnificent 7 - Really enjoyed this, I'm not a big fan of westerns or re-makes but  found this very decent indeed. 
Jason Bourne - meh . The same run of mill action film as the others in the series. Entertaining enough I suppose if your feeling a bit brain dead

Just finished off the new series of South Park.  Used to love it, drifted away for many years, but got back on board for the 20th... so funny.

Just finished watching Boys from the Blackstuff "shop thy neighbour" episode. Not seen it since the early 80s but still very powerful. Julie Walters on top form. Not easy to watch at times so if you are looking for laughs maybe not suitable.

One of the greatest television shows of all time.  Must get on a rewatch sometime.
