Watched the founder - mmm was decent, not the kinda thing I would normally watch but certainly interesting and entertaining enough. Good to see how McDonalds got to where they are.

Checked out 'John Wick - Chapter 2' this afternoon and it's bigger, bolder, funnier and with even more shooty-bang-bang stuff than the first.  Even better than the original and nicely set up for a third instalment, which is apparently happening.  And no dogs are harmed in this sequel.

Tried watching the 'Assassins Creed' movie, gave up less than an hour in.  Just a whole load of CGI arsebollocks with some great actors going through the motions and keeping their minds on the paycheque.  Avoid, IMO.

Yes seen asswipe creed a few weeks ago and agreed it was utter bollocks .
So I've finally gave in and started watching game of thrones. Yeah its really good, even Sean bean is good, the sets and costumes are excellent. Starting to get to grips with most of the characters, oh well only 5 n ahalf seasons to go lol

Welcome to the fold!  A word of advice... stay the hell away from ANY article about GOT until you're up to date.  This show is not afraid of killing major characters off... often completely out of the blue.  Enjoy, sir!

Got to say Tom Hardy was brilliant, I know it cost him and his brother a lot of money to make, hopefully the dvd sales will recoup any money they are out. For me its been the best thing on council telly for a long n I really hate the bbc

Videodrome, classic horror from the 80's, just got a lovely uncut Blu with loads of extras.  Truly mental stuff with a great central performance from James Woods (kudos, as well, for a nude Debbie Harry)...

Just finished watching season 1 of Westworld - quite good and looking forward to season 2 but not until 2018 apparently  Nice work from Anthony Hopkins & Ed Harris.

Just checked out 'Patriots Day', that new movie about the Boston bombings and the subsequent manhunt for the bastards who did it... really good, much better than I expected it to be, genuinely quite tense, OK it's a bit heavy on the sentiment sometimes (as the following trailer demonstrates... it isn't as corny as it looks) but well worth a watch.

Get on this, superb film.  As someone who was out of work for a while after a thankfully minor heart attack, I can testify what a loathsome system that the UK has in place for unemployed people.

Just make sure you have tissues to hand (to mop up your tears) and something to punch (a pillow or something) for how angry it will make you...
