Saw that remake not so long ago, thought it was ok (even if it was in German which I still can't follow a film in) - nice use of a bear trap 

Watching this interview with Noel Gallagher at the moment, very interesting and I'm somewhat embarrassed to say that there's something a bit attractive about him.........

Re. Straw Dogs,i personally prefer original much more shocking at time of release.Had to leave cinema mid   film when first watched it ,as my then girlfriend could not handle it.Re-make whilst also shocking not so in these days of more modern horror/gore offerings.

And it is this BEN-HUR which I said is a remake that is better than the original.

Gave that new 'Lost In Space' Netflix remake a go.  Hmm... I'll give it one more episode but I doubt I'll continue after that if it doesnt get any better.  Nice production values and all, but the characters are utterly uninteresting and cliched.

Love the old Christopher Lee / Peter Cushing movies... but 'Hammer House Of Horror' (UK TV show from the late 70's) was something I was allowed to watch on a Saturday night by my Mum... what the heck was she thinking?  'The House That Bled To Death', 'Charlie Boy', 'The 13th Victim' etc...
