Never seen Combat Shock, mainly because it came from the Troma people, a production company who made low budget schlock in the 80's... most of those films were pretty awful.  But I respect your advice / opinions so I'll make efforts to obtain it, from one source or another...

Tremors- a fantastically stupid film, and the only one I can watch Kevin Bacon in from that era. Love it.

i love tremors! in germany they often give movies a different title or a subtitle to explain about th emovie or to give it a category, so here it's called : "tremors - in the land of the rocket worms"

"Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" and it's exactly what it sounds like;-) Beautiful historical set pieces and Atmosphere, good actors, a marvellous Lincoln actor and a hilariously odd story about Lincoln killing Vampires. This was done by Timur Bekmambetov who did the fantastic one of a kind action thriller "Wanted" and "Night Watch", both movies are highly recommended and so is Abraham Lincoln (if you like stylish splatterfests;-)

Damn, that is awesome!

Just finished the third episode of 'Bodyguard' and whilst the storyline constantly drifts further and further into far-fetched territories, it's still a damn fine watch.

Last night watched The Fugitive (yep another film i have never seen).......as a huge fan of the TV series when i was a kid i was really looking forward to it.It stuck to some of the details in the TV series,i enjoyed it on the whole,but found some of the plot lines a little bit far fetched(i know it is a film)...Not a bad way to pass a couple of hours..

Last night watched The Fugitive...

That film was a monster hit over here in the States. For some odd reason, that film was a HUGE hit. Finished third in the Top Box Office list for 1993. Only JURASSIC PARK and the comedy MRS. DOUBTFIRE sold more tickets that year. Kind of cool that an adult drama could do so well at the box office. We don't see that happening anymore.

And, yes, the following exchange brought the house down:

Hey, I watch that show, too. I fast forward through the dopey drama stuff (any scene in the house I instantly zip through), but the astonishing artistry is what makes me watch this show every season.

I don't know if we are getting the same season. Here in the States it is a season dealing with some manufactured grudge match between Cleen and Christian. Is that the season you are on?

Just gave 'Solo - A Star Wars Story' a watch... nope, not having it.  If it ain't Harrison Ford, it ain't Han Solo, much like Queen without Freddie ain't Queen.  Just a bad cover version.
