Gave the new Doctor Who episode another watch without a beer-clouded mind. Liked it better second time around. It deffo seems like another attempt at getting new viewers on board, like the original reboot in 2005. Viewing figures are apparently the best in a decade, even beating 'Bodyguard'!
The first post-regeneration episode always had the Doctor a bit manic, so hopefully it'll calm down next episode. The new companions are quite likeable although I liked Graham the best (can't imagine why a grumpy middle-aged man like me would think that

) and THAT death near the end added a bit of emotional impact, especially in view of how it might relate to a couple of characters...
Also, it's a new experience to think 'Yeah... I quite fancy Doctor Who.'
