Tonights episode of Doctor Who.  Hmm, thought this one was a bit of a snoozefest.

Just found 'Wolf Creek' series 2, which I didn't even knew existed... loved the two movies and then there was a six-part TV show which I was also fond of... yup, Mick Taylor is back and still terrorising tourists in Australia.  Watched the first two episodes and it's well worth a watch if this sort of thing is your cup of tea... trailer here, rather dodgy frame ratio but you'll get the drift...

Looking forward to next weeks DW, it's all about Rosa Parks... purely for the reaction from certain internet 'fans' who are whining about the new Doctor being a woman and now get an episode that's about equal rights, an important moment in social evolution and 'them blacks'.. I mean, it's just political correctness gone mad, innit!

It should in theory be a good episode. But the very best ones are the darker ones. Think Midnight and Family of Blood. Im hoping it grabs me soon. It just doesnt seem Dr Who-y. I dont care its a woman in the lead role, but thus far its doing nothing for me . Id also argue that the previous female companions were equally as strong a role. It made it more interesting with the unspoken love interest.

Strong and enjoyable episode of 'Doctor Who' tonight... could have been a bit 'taking an immense episode of human history and turning it into a silly sci-fi episode' thing but was actually quite well done and even a bit moving...

Well for all my criticisms thus far, THAT was more like Doctor Who. Enjoyed that one.

It was a good episode.  Much as I like Mr Capaldi, I'm loving Ms Whittaker.  I'm hoping the first two episodes (a bit of silly fun) are easing new viewers into something a bit different, which this episode certainly did...

Personally, I'm loving the relationship between Graham and his 'grandson'.  I'm calling it now... Graham will die before or at the end of the series and Ryan will call him 'grandad' before he passes away.  DW can never resist a sentimental moment!   

Half way through 'The Meg' right now... it's a Ronseal movie (does exactly what it says on the tin) and I'm quite enjoying it... but if it completely gripped me, I wouldn't be posting here, would I?
