Just gave 'Inferno' (2016) a go... damn, how can a film that relentlessly-paced be so bloody dull?

The villain has exactly the same motive as Thanos in that last Avengers movie.... the book came out five years ago...

Not a classic, IMHO, but Alan Cumming was superb, as always.  Now, he could be a great Doctor if the whole thing about the Doctor being male and white wasn't so terribly offensive these days, or something...

But the rumor (no confirmation yet) is that though the final GAME OF THRONES season is only six episodes, most of the episodes will be ninety minutes or longer (two hour finale?).

If HBO had any brains (and they actually do, their programming is top notch), the finale for GAME OF THRONES should be offered simultaneously (May 19th, 9 PM EST) in movie theaters around the globe.

Can you imagine how much fun that would be? Surely the theater would be packed (and probably packed with viewers dressed in full costume). It would be a blast. Watching the final episode in a theater filled with fans....that would be an epic way to end this epic show.

My boy Jack, by and starting David Haig. It was playing on the coach when I went around the Somme a couple of years ago. Just watched it for the first time in full. Very moving true story.

The House With A Clock In Its Walls... really rather enjoyable.  A kids film from Eli Roth, the director of stuff like 'Hostel'?  What could go wrong?

Always been a favorite of mine. Had not seen it in years. Still great. Fantastically entertaining.
And I came away this time thinking that Leslie-Anne Down is one of the most beautiful actresses to ever grace the silver screen.

Oh, Bohemian Rhapsody... finally got around to watching it, actually saw it at the cinema (what the heck, it's only a fiver on a Wednesday afternoon!)  ! And, yes, some of it was cheesier than a four-cheese pizza (with a bit of extra cheese thrown on top) and even a non-Queen -obsessive like me knows that some of the 'facts' on display are pretty bogus but what the heck... as I suspected, it's an entertainment, not a documentary and if it gets some folks into Queen then fair enough.  I really enjoyed it and Rami Malek is superb, if he doesn't get nominated for an Oscar it'll be a travesty.
