Hobo With A Shotgun.............anybody else on here watched it ?..if so comments please.....agree totally Master Ray Jackie Brown also my favourite Tarantino film...

Hobo With A Shotgun... hmm, I 'sort of' liked it, it was like a recreation of so many bad (but fun) VHS era films that I liked as a teenager...

But it also made me a bit sad because Rutger Hauer is one of my favourite actors of all time and I wish he was making better films...

Thank you for your comments,i was looking for a DVD for a friend when i came upon it in my collection.I do not remember buying it can only assume for dumb title and from charity shop.I started watching it and did'nt know if i was watching either the worst,stupidest,funniest,violent,ironic (or all of these) films i had ever seen.In the end i have to say i quite liked it,as the blurb on the cover says something like ''Grindhouse at it's best''.......

Series 2 has just started, I'm only half way through s1, but it's one I'd recommend...

And did you like it?  I certainly did, a great fun watch.  Although the way they seemed to portray the mid 90's as some far gone era to be laughed at (Blockbuster Video?  Sound files that take two minutes to load?) depressed me a bit... FFS, those were my prime years!

I did enjoy it yeah, good fun. For some reason i found the "Roit Gurl" all female fronted bands sound track upset me. I think I felt it was overtly and unnecessarily "Right on" and PC to co-inside with the "Strong Female" main character.
Didn't feel good to me, not sure why... maybe slightly patronising...might have to take that to my therapist next week to find out whats going on for me there !

Bloody great film.  80's kiddie film 'Short Circuit' remade in South Africa with tons of swearing and violence (and Hugh Jackman with a spectacular mullet!)!  Who the fook punted THAT one to the studio who eventually paid for it?

Just watched 'Aquaman'... damn, how can a film be so full of action, so visually spectacular... and also be so bloody boring?  I fell asleep twice and I hadn't even been drinking when I watched it.
