I fully agree. Just finished the latest re-read of the book today and watched Episode 1 right away. Very close to the book in a very good way.  Also David Tennant nails Crowley as if the character had been written for him.

Just gave ep 2 of 'The Virtues' a watch.  Dammit, this is a tough watch (brilliant performances) but so compelling.  Think I'm gonna need to stick on something that's a lot lighter to send me off to bed tonight...

You know you can't go wrong with a Shane Meadows / Stuart Graham collaboration. Watching it reminds me why I usually avoid TV series, I hate having to wait a week before the next bit. I suspect a twist in the story coming up. My guess, Graham's character was an abuser rather than victim. - that's not a spoiler, only my guest based on S.Meadows past writing style.

Three new episodes of Black Mirror out today on Netflix!  Was tempted to binge-watch the lot but I'll ration it out to one episode per day... first up is Striking Vipers.  Each episode has an individual trailer, here's the one for this ep...

Hmm, a bit to reminiscent of a certain other fan favourite episode, but well made and well acted and with a certain aspect of it that might some people feel rather uncomfortable... but, hey, that's Black Mirror!

Liked it better than the first one even though it's a bit Black Mirror by numbers (Social media is prevalent!  And something goes wrong!) but it's really tense and well acted (Andrew Scott is such a terrific actor) and well worth a punt if you're Netflix-inclined...

Probably my favourite BM episode of this series, simply because it's so unusual... the first BM episode since 'USS Callister' that genuinely had me laughing.  A fun romp indeed but with some rather disturbing undertones.  And, although, I've never been a fan of Ms Cyrus, she gives a great performance here...

Glad you watched it mate!  Yeah, it's an odd one... I think not, they did try and kiss in 'the real world' and it did nothing for either of them... but what the heck, VR isn't that advanced (yet) so who knows?  I will say that it seemed to save their marriage, one day a month when their partner could do something naughty...

That's wehat I love about BM.  It puts those questions in your head...

Episode 2 new black mirror.  Fk wot can I say , probably the darkest sadest episode ever , almost brought a cry tear to my eye . Bet something like this has most likely happened .
