It chapter 2....Good film. Both have been pretty close to the story.
Ive also watched Between Two Ferns: The Movie and In the Tall Grass on Netflix recently. Both are worth a watch.

Gave 'El Camino - a Breaking Bad Movie' a go on Netflix... BB is one of my very fave TV shows of all time and this follow-up which follows Jesse after the events of the last episode is worth a punt if you're a BB fan.  Bit of a slow burner... trailer beneath.

That new film 'Joker'....

Well, that was a slice of cinematic awesomeness. Joaquin Phoenix , best actor of his generation? I'd certainly say so... although I feel slightly sorry for fellow cinema-goers who were probably expecting a 'superhero movie' and expecting Batman to show up and punch him or something... a dark and disturbing film indeed.  Trailer below....

Taking my eldest to see it on Thursday. I didnt take to the trailers, but its warmed on me. I fancy ill enjoy it more because it isnt a superhero movie.

It's deffo more 'Taxi Driver' than 'The Avengers'...  if your eldest likes deep and dark films, you'll be fine.

Got around to watching 'Crawl' a watch, which WW recommended... yeah, it's not a classic but a good fun horror film about alligators... worth a punt after a hard day and you're feeling undemanding.  As ever, trailer below...

Holy hell!!! Was it ever dark. If he doesnt win a plethora of awards for that role, Ill be stunned. Fantastic glimpse into a psychotic mind....and yet part of me wanted him to turn out alright. Stunning film.

Apparently Joaquin Phoenix has said he won't play the Joker again... which seeing as we're getting another Batman reboot in a couple of years, who the hell can follow that?  Certainly not the 30 Seconds To Mars guy who was so crap in Suicide Squad...

I have just watched last nights Jools Holland show and realised how old i am getting.. ...spoke to a mate of mine(who is 12 years younger than me)...he really liked it.I really liked Cate Le Bon and enjoyed Georgia the rest left me a little cold,even PP Arnold was'nt as good as normal(imho)....i find the format a little bit tired,i used to love the show.............what a miserable old sod i sound ....on a more positive note at least Jools did'nt ruin any songs by playing boogie woogie piano  over them like he normally does...

Eli on Netflix...well worth a watch if you can. Bloody good ghost film......with what looks like a twist coming at the end.

Have just watched ERASERHEAD (again) on DVD,i still find it as disturbing and bizarre as the first time i saw it many,many years ago,i actually still have my VHS copy.An absolute classic (imho).. ...as an aside you can listen to the whole soundtrack from the film on Youtube Music..........go on give it a go...
