Right, got a cracker of a film for you all to check out, 'The Day Shall Come' from the genius that is Chris Morris (The Day Today, Brass Eye, Nathan Barley, Four Lions)... just watched it and it's a terrific flick.  A bit like the aforementioned 'Four Lions' in that it's a rather dark comedy about terrorism but it's based on multiple true accounts of how the FBI tried to fit up what were, basically, ineffectual delusional losers for being the next Bin Laden... best film I've seen this year so far, IMHO!

The curse of oak island. Most will find it boring but I like it . It's a small island of the coast of nova Scotia with links to the knights templer where there trying to find artifacts n ultimately treasure.

Just watched a brilliant UK film called 'Farming'... I won't lie, it's a tough watch but brilliantly acted and made.  It's about how many Nigerian immigrant children were 'farmed' out (ie fostered) to white families and how one black lad somehow got mixed up with the skinheads who hated him.  It's a true story and it's pretty brutal in places, but I'd recommend it...

Top of the pops on beeb 4  re-running the show from 1989. Nice to hear NMA mentioned again. Few weeks back they announced "Stupid questions", just now - "new at number 37, New Model Army with Vagabonds"

Later they showed quite a long clip of the video !

Beast,a film set in Jersey although made by a local man very little of it was filmed here......a tense psychological drama brilliantly filmed and well acted,a very good film indeed..

It was front page news here when Sluggs died. He was a real "local character".
