Edge of Tomorrow....possibly my Zulu of the 2000's. Never get bored of watching it.

I like that one, too. Here it is called: Live.Die.Repeat

I have watched "They Shall Not Grow Old"

They Shall Not Grow Old is a 2018 documentary film directed and produced by Peter Jackson. The film was created using original footage of the First World War from the Imperial War Museum's archives, most previously unseen, all over 100 years old by the time of release. Audio is from BBC and Imperial War Museum (IWM) interviews of British servicemen who fought in the conflict. Most of the footage has been colourised and transformed with modern production techniques, with the addition of sound effects and voice acting to be more evocative and feel closer to the soldiers' actual experiences.

If you're interested in that history, this is a must see. But it is also a very unpleasant reminder of the sheer horror that was or is going on in war. Many images you might not want to see. And all those young kids...damn. Really well produced and told, a very special documentary.

If i could knit the socks...i would watch a great, suspenseful snooker match, about 3 to 5 hours;-)
But maybe, just maybe, .. there are some people in the world, who don't find snooker to be as action-packed and suspenseful as me;-)
So what about this movie:

The Deep

Its about the story which the song Conversations on From Here is about.
Just a suggestion because you asked, haven't seen it yet for myself.

Do you know if this film is available with English subtitles?  :) You got me interested...
Finished knitting the socks though, it was about as suspenseful as a snooker match  ;D Joking aside, I actually like watching snooker, despite the fact that I only have very superficial knowledge about the rules  :)

Continuing the nautical theme...

This was amazingly relaxing watch, thanks for sharing!  :)

Right now getting ready to watch Princess Mononoke... It's an amazing movie. I've only seen it once some years ago, dubbed in Czech..... So finally, it's time to watch it in Japanese, with English subtitles - just the way it should be! :)

Think they are great movies, they kind of always were to expensive for me (i'm a discount hunter;-) but i think i will give them a try soon..

We've just finished Deutschland 83 and its sequel Deutschland 86. A spy story around the fall of East Germany.

Brilliant stuff.

Borat...2 to save typing. Took me a few watches before I got it. Not up there like the first but decent enough. Enjoyed it.

Tis a funny sequel.  I think that some of it was a bit more scripted but, wow, the last scene with Rudi Gulliani (or however you spell it) was terrific.

And the girl who played Borats daughter was superb.  A star in the making.
Rah! Rah! Rah! We're going to smash the oiks!

Just finished season one of Bosch on Amazon. Troubled LA detective. Formulaic but engaging. Four stars I reckon.

DNA, Danish crime thriller really enjoying it,the only down side is Charlotte Ramplings acting.......in some scenes she is so wooden you'd have a job to spot her in a Scandinavian Pine Forest.... ::)....have just read ''The Bridge'' series 4 starts next week so i am looking forward to that....

Silence...for those who dont know, its about the attempt to spread Christianity into Japan in the 1600's I think. Superb film and Andrew Garfield plays a very good role.
