The best TV show I've seen in years in 'Slow Horses' which is on Apple TV... damn shame as that's a channel that relatively few people have. If this show was on the BBC or Netflix it'd be HUGE!
It's a spy thriller that is also incredibly funny, based on a popular series of books by Mick Herron. Gary Oldman (in one of his best performances ever, and this is GARY BLOODY OLDMAN we're talking about|

) stars as the head of a branch of M15 where people are sent when they've really fucked up their careers and are relegated to doing the grunt work that nobody wants to do... yet still dream of cracking cases that might get them into MI5's good books again.
Series 4 has just started, it's every bit as good as the previous series, there's literally nothing I can criticise about the show, the ensemble cast are perfect, the writing is excellent throughout, it's just a wonderful show. I'll post the trailer for the first series if anyone fancies checking it out...
