I am sure I am not the only one. I love hundreds of songs, but every now and again, one of them can take root in my brain, and stay there for some time, even if you have know it for years.
At the moment for me its "Far Better Thing" Been playing, Lost Songs a lot lately. On my walk home from work, the first time it happened by coincidence after the last clock turn back. On my walk home, I walk through a quite haunting looking abandoned Victorian brewery, then onto a pitch black unlit dark path flanked by trees,if lit, only ever lit by the stars, and occasionally the Moon. Now, every night, and for the last few weeks, as soon as I start to arrive at the path, I start "Far Better Thing" In the lonely darkness it is an extremely powerful song, the build up, and the very personal lyrics. By the time I"m at the end of the path, the song has reached its crescendos, and the arms are well and truly outstretched. Have to say, I love it. Glad no one can see me. !!
Anyone else obsessed with, or being haunted by a song at the moment ? , even a none NMA song ?
