''These Haunted Islands'' the story of witchcraft in the Channel Islands, fascinating read covering the period from 1550 to 1980's ( when the book was written). If there was any doubt that we are/were more civilized than our Guernsey brethren is the fact we only strangled and hanged our witches whilst they burned theirs alive at the stake..... ;D....

Just started re-reading Catch 22, absolute brilliance! It's been years since I read it, I guess something good about quarantine - time for some excavation through your bookshelf!

Names Are For Tombstones Baby - The Mission Story by Martin Roach

I revisited this after reading Salad Daze by Mr Huss himself.
Lots of stirred memories of good/bad/scary/exciting times out with The Mish and The Eskimos.
