'Bruce Lee - A Life' by Matthew Polly.  Cracking good 600 page biography about Mr Lee, plenty of interesting stuff I didn't know before...

Today finished reading Joolz's ''Corazon''... Truly enjoyed it! The ending of the book got so intense that I couldn't put it down aaaand I was late from work... Luckily my colleague was understanding and I promised she can come later to work in morning  ;D
Running late, grabbed from my bookshelf Daphne duMaurier's ''The Birds and other stories'' to read in metro. I remember buying it for 10 crowns from a flea market maybe a year ago but somehow never got to reading it... Now's the time, then :)

Again I fell into a classic trap - got my wages, left from work, on the way to metro there's a bookstore that opens at eight in the morning...  ;D Found out Jo Nesbo has a new book out, ''The Kingdom''... Didn't even bother to read the back cover: I'm a simple person, I see Jo Nesbo, I buy it :D Addicted...  ::)

Jo Nesbo and The Snowman - goood choice (I`ve read all his books with Harry Hole)

other "who did it"- books with less action, but interesting and growing characters and background:

Ake Edwardson - with Winter (a music fan)

and a bit darker about Island - Arnaldur Indridasson with Erlendur
And me, I`ve got a black place in my heart
Still got this hole in me
Perhaps - I am the master of nothing?

Ghosttrain, if you're into thrillers, a word of warning... Jo Nesbo might cause from mild to severe addiction!  :D I remember when I read Nesbo first time: I was visiting my parents, had great difficulties trying to fall asleep. At that time, I thought I don't like to read thrillers (was traumatized years ago in some literature course in school, teacher made us read this dead-boring thriller the name of which I can't remember). In order to fall asleep, I raided my parents bookshelf and grabbed Jo Nesbo's book (it was ''The Bat'', first book in Harry -series), thinking ''great, thriller, I hate those, this will make me fall asleep!''    .....well, I was still wide awake 200 pages later ;D When I returned home, went to a bookstore straight away to buy the next book...when finished that, was drinking my morning coffee with shaky hands, waiting for the bookstore to open. So, you have been warned...

Recently i fell for the Jack Reacher thrillers by Lee Child and the Thrillers by Chris Carter about the Hunter&Garcia Detectives. It was one Reacher then Hunter then Reacher, now i'm reading/listening to "The Death Sculptor" by Carter.
ever tried. ever failed. no matter.
try again. fail again. fail better.
