Right now? Pigeons.
That brief heatwave we had recently? It led me, as someone in a smallish top floor flat, to get all my windows open in all my rooms, leave the doors open to get a decent flow of air through and cool the place down somewhat. And I work from home so I've got headphones on throughout the day whilst dealing with clients so I can be oblivious to that's going on outside of my little home office. So I was subsequently finding feathers and splatters of shit all over the place... yup, these winged bastards (rats with wings, to be honest) clearly found a potential new source of food...
Clearly, I closed those windows and have done since... but now those pigeons are ALL OVER the outside of my flat, landing on the windowsills and the roofs and doing that annoying 'cooing' sounds... I've found them thudding against the windows and tapping on the glass and they seem utterly unafraid when I bang back on the glass... like they're saying 'Oy, what are you gonna do? I can
fly, bee-yatch'...
Seeing as it seems like we're going to have a hot summer I suspect I'm going to be at war with these vermin...
