The Germany / France match was boring with a predictable result.

This Brazil / Columbia match is more end to end fast flowing  :)

nope, they pay half on getting to the final

and costa rica were brilliant, left nothing on the field. very similar to the US in terms of commitment. it is a pity that it is only once every four years that they get to impress on a world stage.

This is the semi-final that in 10 years time people still wont beleive the score. Incredible.

Brazil were taught a football lesson tonight from the Germans It could take them years to recover. Ok they were missing there best two players but they have looked average at best through out Oh guess who Scotland's first game is against in the European qualifiers in September yeah you guessed it the Germans lol
Sad to see a proud nation being defeated so badly though

Ok, so am slightly biased, being German and all but that was just unbelievable. Four goals in six minutes. Unreal. I do feel sorry for the Brazilians. They take football passion to another level.

I still think the Dutch are the strongest team overall though. But Germany have a very real chance at winning now. See who wins tonight. Exciting stuff.

Ive got a soft spot for Germany tbh, despite the heartbreak theyve given us. Beautiful country and culture.

I've only been to Germany once, I was in Koln and Bonn, had a fantastic time, beautiful buildings and lovely people.

Hopefully go back there one day.

I was lucky enough to see Koblenz in the summer and Frankfurt/Mainz in the winter. Just something about the place that I'll always carry with me.
So I guess Im rooting for Germany.
I didnt like the Dutch attitude through the semi. Constantly berating the match officials. But I cant bring myself to support Brazil either.
Ive thoroughly enjoyed this tournament despite Englands short comings. Its been refreshing to have a break from the English greedy league.

Was a little disappointed with the Dutch, didn't really see the commitment that got them to the semis which they showed in the previous matches.

As soon as it went to pennys, you just knew they are not going to go through. Their  record in shoot outs is as bad as Englands in recent tournaments.  You have to imagine, it gets routed in the National frame of mind - I'm Dutch, I'm English, I cannot score in a shoot-out   ::)
