My favourite songs on her new album for the moment are 'The river knows", "Dooley's farm" and "Castilleja"...here's "The river knows" she played live this week, she is actually touring in the States this month:

BRODY DALLE

Lori Carson has some great stuff and I found her music from a great sountrack for a film called "Broken Vessels". PJ Harvey - doesn't need an introduction. She's a fantastic and creative artist. Maritta Kuula is a Finnish rock/pop singer with very authentic style. Brody Dalle has some interesting punk rock stuff and I appreciate her experience of life in general that is a tragical story how one can get over dark and shady things and become a whole person.

Cheers, Guillaume. I checked the name of the film from imdb  and I think I haven't seen that film. Yeah, Lori Carson is an artist that should be prefered to check out more her stuff. The song I know from Broken Vessels is called "Hands".  It's almost like ambient, guitar driven unplugged track with nice vocals, then leading towards end with more percussive stuff.  I have to check the song you mentioned from the film Waking The Dead.

It's a nice song and it fits the mood of the film very well. It's a beautiful love story with an haunting winter, sad mood. Jennifer Connelly and Billy Crudup are brillant in this film.

Not sure how well known Brutus is outside Belgium. But they are one of my favorite bands. They started with 3, and didn't have a singer yet. So Stefanie Mannaerts volunteered to sing ánd drum at the same time, while they were looking for a singer. But that worked so well, that they decided to keep playing with three and have Stefanie on vocals permanently. I've seen them live several times, and they kick ass.

They were spotted by Foo Fighters two years ago, and were asked to be their support band in France. And then came corona, so that hasn't happened yet.

I highly recommend them. Their song  "All along" was voted number one in the "Zwaarste Lijst 2022" this weekend. War, was voted number 12. Enjoy!
