Thank you for that.... 8)....

Her new album seems quite promising...as usual amazing guitar playing, on the opening song "Everything burns" for example.

Thanks for sharing and i finally got a glimpse of Larking Poe watching some songs from that recording and it was a really nice performance of good music.

I now go in association mode on want to share something here.
This is from a channel i like much, they invite bands to cover songs and i like it because you see how musicians work, the art and crafting of music in a band and all videos i watched, every band unknown to me showed me that there a so many good and greats bands out here, playing instruments and making music and i enjoy this very much. So this one i post here is because it's a folk-pop duo with twins having to figure out to cover system of a down and the resukt is great and they seem to be a great band anyways..

..btw, skip the first minute or so, cause it's asummary of the video and i find it to be a spoiler, i skip that everytime. seems to be something the marketing mind told them to do nowadays, like having that thumbnail you need, clickbait titles and all those things...

This is a band that became known a few years ago through their YouTube channel, where they've done/do nice covers of many artists.

When I met them in Paris for the release and showcase of their latest albums, I gave them a few CDs, including some by NMA and Justin  8) 8), secretly hoping they'd do a cool cover on their channel! Obviously, NMA's style is very different from their Blues Rock/Americana/Country sound, but it would be cool if they could cover one NMA song! Nice people and the band is especially good live, where their enthusiasm playing for the audience is quite communicative.

If you like Larkin Poe, I highly recommend the other Grammy Award nominated artist Samantha Fish, who's been part of the new wave of Blues Rock for about ten years. I had the chance to see her in Paris a few months ago, a superb concert, and she's an amazing singer and a terrific guitar player. Her studio albums are all solid, but her live performances are better:

Loreena McKennitt - simply in a league of her own for almost 40 years now! Fantastic pianist, harpist and vocalist. Have seen her more than 20 times now, and she's never been anything less than perfect in concert.

Since the opening of this topic I have had the opportunity to see her concert on DVD "Nights from the Alhambra" and I agree, she is a brilliant artist...great concert.
