Good ask Pol. And Rusco - like yer friends  :)

I read a piece on either Guardian or Independent website today on Nuclear weapons and who has what ready to go or in stockpile as far as anyone knows. Trident is totally dependent on the US for continuing functionability (might have just made that word up). Without their servicing, technical support, personnel etc..... there is no Trident. And if the US were to withdraw that support then it appears that within a few weeks the nukes are inoperable.

So the first thing is that we can all forget any idea of an independent UK Nuclear capability. It doesn't exist. The question therefore really is: Do we want to continue funding a joint uk-us Nuclear weapons system.

Personally - No.

Firstly because if countries start throwing nukes at each other then we're all fucked anyway. There's more than enough without ours to extinguish current human civilisation.

Secondly because I do not believe that we should have a weapon of such magnitude that cannot be fully within our own control.

Thirdly - I can think of far more important pressing demands for that money.

And before anyone starts sniping about any anti US bollox they may read into that - It happens to be the US we buy our arms off. I don't give a monkeys flying fart which country it is.

Ok all this election bs has been boring the tits off us all for the last couple of weeks and will continue to do so for a while yet, so here is my general take on it
The Tories - A bunch of posh boys who are in it to see there own kind do ok n fck everyone else
Labour - Started a illegal war last time that has landed us in even more shit with the raise of  isis etc and nearly bankrupted the country which we all also still paying for.
Ukip - A bunch of nazi scumbags who's true colours are starting to show.
Libs - A bit of joke party who get what they deserve for going in with the tories.
Snp - mmm for me the figures don't add especially with the oil industry struggling and things the way they are in Europe
Greens - Have some good ideas n should get more respect but some of there ideas are laughable and the voting system works against them

Help were fcked lol

Election?

Don't matter what we wake up to on that Friday in May. This will still be true:

Personally, I'm quite disgusted with how low the media is going with this forthcoming election (dependant on who is paying them... let's be honest, it's dirty tricks all around...)

Some public, non-political figure expresses their personal opinion... and the next day, the papers (the ones on the opposite opinion of the one that that person was saying) are dragging up some personal shit from their past in an utter slag-off, aimed at their nearest and dearest...

The whole thing is utterly ******* vile.

The election is already pissing me off, all the fodder I have had through the door. I think every party going has now sent leaflets to all four of us separately. What a waist of paper / trees. Must have had a small branch worth of pulp through the door. Do people really change their mind / vote because of these leaflets.

Plus, maybe this extra work load for the postie's might explain why I have still not had my live album  >:(
