The band have nothing to do with the documentary aside from actually being in it - it was made by Matt Reid, not New Model Army: and so anything to do with DVDs, screenings etc should really be directed towards the people who own it not the band  :)

Sorry, Viv, should have realised that...  :-\

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but will it be available in The Shop when it comes out on DVD / Blu?  And will a greater cut of the money go to the band or is just the same as if we bought it from Amazon or whatever?  I always try and shop around for the better deal, especially as cash it a bit tight right now, but I'd prefer to pay a little extra if it all goes towards keeping the good ship NMA sailing... apologies if my grasp of the financial side of things are a bit shaky!   ;)

To be honest I have no idea at all whether it will be in the shop, though I suspect that will be the case.

Thanks, Viv.  Have to be honest, I totally misunderstood the whole idea of the documentary, I thought it was an 'official' and 'in-house' NMA release... obviously not.

If someone can get copies sold via this site, I suspect that more money will go to the band, so that's what I'll hold out for...

Dammit.  :) people out of the UK will have to wait for DVD [...]

Ok, so this DVD sounds like something I'd really want to get! Does anyone know or have any assumptions when it's going to be released? Is it the Christmas? Couldn't wait so long...

Hey Simon,

the info about the currently scheduled screenings is all over the board, even on the main page. I'd assume that as soon as further screenings are arranged you will read about it right here.

Cheers,
Guido

With so much emphasis apparently on their early career perhaps this is only part one?

As far as I understand the Producers have recently signed the UK DVD deal so it will happen, but when, I have no idea.

It needs to do the rounds first. Movie Houses, TV and then on home release.
