Billy Idol is back!

This week is released Billy Idol's new album, "Kings and queens"...has anyone here listened to this album?
I must say i quite like Billy Idol's songs and voice, "Rebel Yell" is still a very good album i think, 30 years after its release and there are some others catchy songs on albums like "Devil's playground".
Steve Stevens is also an excellent guitarist, and a big part of Idol's success.

I have also notied he has his autobiography out... hmm, might be one to ask Santa for.

Dancing With Myself is one of the favourite songs ever (it IS about wanking, right?  ) and was rather fond of his big 80's abums.  Must check 'em out again one of these days.

"Dancing with myself" is great, indeed!

"Rebel yell" is one of my favourite 80's songs i think, and the album itself is very catchy.
There are some good songs also on "Whiplash smile".
Have you listened to the Idol come back album before his last one, "Devil's playground"??
It's a pretty good album that went unnoticed, though.

Last Idol album I listened to was 'Cyberpunk'... over 20 years ago...

Nothing to do with wanking, but now you have said it, I shudder at the thought of there being a full length mirror in your bedroom M/Ray  whatever gets you through a lonely night.

More of a Gen-X song, and released by the band off the  album "kiss me deadly". Idol then stuck it on his debut solo album

"Devil's Playground" was indeed a really good album, I had the chance to see him live when it cameout, great show, too.

I haven't listened to the new one yet but might, I have read some good reviews.

Just finished reading Mr Idols autobiography... a hugely entertaining read...

Seeing as it's now December, the Christmas season, I thought perhaps that Billy should rerecord some of his old songs with more seasonal lyrics...

... perhaps 'Dancing With My Elf?'
