Thanks for that - Have a couple of his later albums, but will need to look into these re-issues.
Isn't it a little odd that fans of NMA and Hawley coexist on the same board?

Is it odd? Shouldn't be but I guess they are different genres. Back in the day you weren't allowed to step out of your little sub-culture box. For instance as a goth I really wasn't supposed to like a bit of 2 tone/ska (Big in Medway in the 80's) but I did. Thought things had evolved a bit but then I'm old now

Thought about that after posting and came to the conclusion that just about anyone that likes JS's solo stuff would probably get into Hawley.

I'm afraid the only Mr Hawley track I know is the one he did with the Manic Street Preachers last year... but I bloody love it.  Terrific lyrics.

Standing at the sky's edge is the only one I own and it's great. Very psychedelic and dreamy.
