... what's that about?  You know, that bit under your name and number of posts?

For me... very little at all.  It's whatever song lyric / movie reference / silly shit I can pull out of my brain at any given moment.  I change it about twice a week with no other thought than it might give someone a giggle if they get the reference.  If not, no problem.

What do you lot think about when it comes to posting your 'personal text'?

that is mark seven, or the seventh account i have set up on public forums, not just NMA. mk is also an acronym for Mod Killer - some mad name i had on a ska punk forum because the moderator was a wagon at the outset. and i could always tell her that it was more in line with punks not liking mods

And my sig is the opening line that is played backwards on the good the bad and the leftover crack  by LOC which sounds a lot like police truck by Jello too

and i think my alt here - suspect device - has some similar settings.

Ok, mine's a reference from Bill Laswell's main site. As a contrary to what some may think, I feel it's not against about being intelligent or thinking about things. It's rather more a meta thing. Like otherness, or surrealism. You know how we tend to fancy the authentic way children draw with pencils? No adult can imitate it.

i once pasted someones message into my sig and was seriously reprimanded

they were right to do so

but i think the opposition to it was not based on the actual context of the coversation

it could always means something different to someone else
