Me and my girlfriend were lucky enough to be at both Kidderminster and Hebden Bridge and fantastic gigs they were too. For me Hebden was the better of the 2, we were on the second row of pews so had a cracking view and the sound was superb.
Only second time seeing Joolz read and she was great, just a shame she didn't do longer but she did say she had a cold so can't blame her
Justin's set was superb, the first time I have heard him play in (near enough) silence and it was stunning. Before Green and Grey he 'let us into a secret' that there was no 'bus ride that meanders', it was the rail journey along the valley through Hebden Bridge that he said he took his inspiration from. He did ask that the audience didn't sing along, unfortunately that was lost on a few tuneless souls on the balcony
Shame really.
2 great gigs, both very different but superb in their own ways. Back to earth with a bump now, roll on the documentary screening and Rock City in December!
