Beatles always bored me and I never quite got what the fuss was all about. I'm with Alf Garnett: "Scouse Git" plus McCartney does that awful double thumbs up think - dickhead 

Just saw Ceri do that thumbs up in Nottingham and thought of this post

I've really missed you lot - been dead busy and also avoiding you because I knew I couldn't go to the gig.
So I open a thread that says Beatles or the Stones and read 'Bowie'
Thanks - I feel better for that.
There's loads of threads been started since I was here and I won't be reading all the comments but the comment 'Bowie'... well, that's worth getting back for.

Thing is: who's it gonna be Vs? Bowie vs Bolan - forget it - Bowie Vs Alice Cooper? Now that'd be close - nah I'd say David Bowie Vs Clint Eastwood - but thats narrowing it down too much to an era and Bowie has travelled way more time than any of them.  There is no one to get in the ring with Bowie..I'd be interested to see who you can parr him with.

No mention of Bowie or Eastwood.  And Eastwood loses for doing that female boxer movie.
