Your favourite french gigs?
« on: December 22, 2014, 01:44:51 PM »
Which are your favourite NMA gigs in France, for those who were at these gigs?

Here are the set lists and towns, from 1985 to 2014:

First time i saw the band was in Paris, a showcase at la Fnac Saint Lazare, in November 1999, but my first real gig was la Locomotive for the 25th birthday, in October 2005.
My best memories of french gigs though are for me the great evenings of the 30th birthday at Le Trabendo (Paris), wonderful memories, i also enjoyed the gigs at the Big Band Café of Hérouville St Clair/Caen in 2006 and 2007, really cool atmosphere in this venue.
There was also a short gig in Pont-Audemer (Normandie) in July the 13th of 2006 , a fun and a bit weird gig, because it was open air and free, in a cool small town festival named "Les Mascarets" in the evening, before the fireworks and...a Canned Heat gig!! 8)

I remember very well NMA in Besançon 1991, because after some songs the light show was going out, and the next few Songs they played in absolutly darkness, just with one small lights from the Roadies for each musician. This was a real Moment of rock `n roll and they played better then ever before  ;)

I have only been to one but it was my very first gig.  Paris, December 2012.   It was the best thing ever due to it being my first. It was remarkable.
Where I'm from is not my home, and neither's where i'm bound.

My first one in France : Marseille, Theatre du Moulin, May 28th 1993 ! The gig at Le Bikini, Toulouse June 5th 1993 is still in my head too.
